Further details of the agreement:
- Includes the archive of journals back to 1853 
- Unlimited publishing of open access research articles for all corresponding authors under CC BY license terms, with authors retaining copyright in our subscription journals above and our open access journals Disease Models & Mechanism and Biology Open.
- Eligible according to Plan S
- Automatic recognition of corresponding authors and a straightforward submission process 
- transparent, cost-neutral price calculation based on the current subscription issues plus the average APC issues (if available) of the last three years
- the Read and Publish fee covers both reading and publishing and multi-year contracts are possible

Eligible institutions:
Universities, (technical) colleges, hospitals, research institutions (based in Germany)
