Summary

The article analyzes the effect of ovarian endometriomas with sizes up to 3 cm in diameter on controlled ovarian stimulation and the results of IVF/ICSI  in comparison with patients of cycles of assisted reproductive technologies concerning infertility associated with the tubal factor. It was found that, despite a lower response to gonadotropins, in patients with endometriomas no more than 3 cm in diameter, the presence of such adnexal masses does not affect the quality of embryos, the total number of embryos transferred to the patient, and the implantation and clinical pregnancy rates as compared to with patients with a tubal factor of infertility.

Key words: ovarian endometrioma, infertility, controlled ovarian stimulation, artificial insemination, tubal factor.
