Midas mystax Spix, 1823
Simiarum et Vespertilionum Brasiliensium species novae, p. 29
Current valid name: Saguinus mystax (Spix, 1823)
Syntype: ZMB 286, skull, skin (in bad condition); woodlands between Rio Solimões and Rio Ica, Amazonas, Brazil; collected by Spix between 1817 and 1820. Further syntypes in München (ZSM 29) and in Leiden (RMNH. MAM.39102).
