Description
High-speed video of plastronic waves, i.e. capillary waves travelling on the plastron of underwater superhydrophobic surfaces, as demonstrated in publication with doi: 10.1038/s41467-025-55907-w. The plastronic waves are produced by an amplitude-modulated 2.5-MHz signal generated by a focused ultrasound transducer.
