Challenges of Public Urban Transport Management in Tetouan: The Bus Model.

This research addresses the challenges of managing urban bus transportation in Tetouan, highlighting issues such as the deterioration of the fleet and the absence of strategic planning. Through a field study that included surveys and interviews, the findings reveal weak services and an inability to meet residents' needs, leading to greater reliance on private cars and increased traffic congestion. The study recommends adopting a comprehensive approach that includes network organization, dedicated lanes for public transportation, and enhanced integration between different modes of transport to alleviate congestion and achieve sustainable urban development.
