Description
Poster for the LST_cci Workshop, 5-6 December 2024, Leicester.
The poster (entitled "Nationwide surface thermal analysis to detect priority areas for urban mitigation interventions") shows geospatial data and findings from two research projects focused on surface thermal analysis from remote sensing data of the Italian territory and microclimate simulations carried out in a public urban area of Florence (middle Italy).
Some details about the research projects.
- MIRIFICUS: A national-scale study funded by the Italian Space Agency (ASI), coordinated by the Institute of Bioeconomy of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-IBE), in collaboration with the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research of Italy (ISPRA).
