Description

FastBiot_QS_GPU3D_v1 is a software suite that models quasi-static Biot's poroelastic equations using graphical processing units (GPUs). The codes can calculate seismic attenuation and stiffness modulus dispersion resulting from fluid pressure diffusion. Note that the script for fracture generation only delivers the correct 3D array of fractures and other functions should not be used.

The scripts are developed to run the CUDA C routines and visualize the results.

Additional routines used:
Räss, L., Licul, A., Herman, F., Podladchikov, Y. Y., & Suckale, J. (2020).
Modelling thermomechanical ice deformation using an implicit pseudo-transient method (FastICE v1. 0) based on graphical processing units (GPUs).
Geoscientific Model Development, 13(3), 955-976.
