The Australian National PID Strategy and Roadmap

In this presentation, Dr David Poger describes the concept of persistent identifier (PID) and its use cases in research. The Australian National PID Strategy and Roadmap that was initiatiated in 2023 by the Australia Research Data Commons (ARDC) in partnership with the Australian Access Federation (AAF) is introduced. The PID strategy and roadmap developed by Microscopy Australia in this national context is also presented.
