Nature's contributions to people indicators for Switzerland

Description

This dataset was created as part of the study by Külling et al. (2024), which developed 15 indicators for nature’s contributions to people (NCP) in Switzerland, along with one indicator for threatened species. The dataset consists of raster files at a 25-meter resolution, with normalized values ranging from 0 to 1. Higher values represent greater NCP supply. A succint description of each layer is available in the table below, and a detailed description of the methodology used to generate these indicators can be found in the associated publication.

We gratefully acknowledge financial support through the Action Plan of the Swiss Biodiversity Strategy by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) for financing the ValPar.CH project. All the institutions and contributors who made the input data freely available are gratefully acknowledged.
