Aphanurus Kieffer, 1912: 10, 69. Type species Teleas semistriatus Nees, 1834 by original designation.

Preoccupied by Aphanurus Looss, 1907. Immsia Cameron, 1912: 104. Type species Immsia carinifrons Cameron, 1912 by monotypy. Microphanurus Kieffer, 1926: 16, 91. Replacement name for Aphanurus Kieffer, 1912.
