THE ROLE OF INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS IN GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION
Authors/Creators
Description
This paper explores the transformative role of intelligent systems, including artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), in government administration. As digital technologies evolve, governments worldwide integrate intelligent systems to improve decision-making, enhance public service delivery, combat corruption, and optimize resource management. This study highlights the benefits of intelligent systems, such as increased transparency, efficiency, and rapid response capabilities in public safety and emergency management. Global case studies, such as Estonia’s e-governance model and South Korea’s smart city initiatives, illustrate the potential impact and successful implementation strategies for intelligent systems in public sectors. However, the adoption process is not without challenges, as governments face obstacles in digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and public adaptation. The paper concludes with strategic recommendations for effective integration, emphasizing the need for cybersecurity, personnel training, and infrastructure enhancement to ensure that intelligent systems deliver their full value in modernizing public administration.
