Description

This book includes the articles presented during the study days organized in April 2009 at the Higher Institute of Documentation, around the theme of digital reading and web uses.
The evolution of ICT, as well as new generation web services, are helping to transform reading practices. Indeed, from a network of simple documentary hyperlinks, the web has become an open sharing space where users are provided with various tools for interaction, publication and collaborative work such as blogs, wikis, folksonomies, RSS feeds, "social bookmarking" ...
Ten university researchers, French and Tunisian, took part in these days and participated, through the different insights they provided, in reflecting on the main changes that reading is undergoing in the digital age. Several of their contributions were enriched by the analysis of the results of recent surveys conducted in France and Tunisia.
