Authors/Creators

Description

This article aims at the construction of a less ambiguous secularism in the Gabon by disentangling the notions «Churches, sects and new religious movements «. On the basis of an abstract, historic approach and the perception by the State, the article proposes a reconsideration of these notions by a strengthened legislation which has to take into account any structures and movement religious energy of the ancestral traditional rites and the faiths in the Christian Churches and the Islam. The management of
the Gabonese religious landscape must be clear to avoid drift and conflicts because the State guarantees the freedom of thought and consciousness. He also has to assure the law and order and protect the most low in front of proselytism and the moral indoctrination of the citizens
