Type Locality: North Kanara [India, Karnataka]. Lectotype designated by Hampson (1901)

Distribution: Karnataka (North Kannara) (Dubatolov 2010), Karnataka (Ganeshgudi, Jog falls) (Kirti & Gill 2008a).
