Code to rollback versions of RefSeq

This is the master branch of the code used to rollback to specific versions of the RefSeq database. This code was used in the manuscript currently titled RefSeq database growth influences the accuracy of k-mer-based lowest common ancestor species identification, which was submitted to Genome Biology in 2018.

The README.md and code comments in the repository provide adequate documentation on how to run each script.
