Description

This image illustrates cpYFP-reported mitoflashes in isolated heart mitochondria supported by 3 mM ATP, extracted from a video within the research on mitoflash biogenesis. The mitoflash events are captured under conditions where Complex V operates as an ATPase. Scale bar, 2 µm.

Source: The original video and data are part of the study: "Mitoflash biogenesis and its role in the autoregulation of mitochondrial proton electrochemical potential," published in Journal of General Physiology on March 15, 2019.
