D2.5 Ethics and Intersectional Inclusivity Framework – Initial version
Creators
Description
T.2.2 of the CommuniCity project develops an ethics and intersectional inclusivity framework to support the project in developing an “inclusive, community-driven, agile innovation and experimentation model”. This means scoping ethics and inclusivity from both social and technical perspectives and focusing especially on addressing the open call rounds and the piloting (both their processes and organisation) within the limits of the project plan. An intersectional approach also recognises that individuals have multiple identities which shape their experiences and highlights that systems of marginalisation and discrimination may be interconnected. Intersectionality helps to develop strategies for dismantling systems of marginalisation, discrimination and oppression and claims that any solutions to challenges must recognise and address the experiences of marginalised and/or vulnerable groups.
