RES4CITY Case Study: Decarbonisation of the heating sector in Lyngby (Short version)

This case study explores technical, economic, and social aspects for the municipality of Lyngby to achieve 98% district heating access by 2030. The case study concludes that transitioning to district heating requires better stakeholder communication, integration with neighbouring systems, and attractive business models. Collaboration and strong political support are necessary for successful implementation.
