Code Prioritizing Heat Adaptation Measures across Indian Cities: A Benefit-Cost Analysis paper
Authors/Creators
Description
All Python code used to calculate the temperature index and WBGT based on UrbClim outputs for present and future scenarios (SSP 1-1.9 and SSP 3-7.0) across three Indian cities—Lucknow, Chennai, and Surat—is included. This code also estimates health and labor productivity losses under a 'no intervention' scenario and evaluates the benefits and costs of potential adaptation measures.
