Authors/Creators
Description
Summary
This policy details the open data publishing requirements adopted by some departments of the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion and the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung. For this purpose, open data publishing refers to the deposition of data and resources, which are presented in or associated with a peer-reviewed publication, in a publicly accessible data repository. The policy is developed by the Joint Open Science Working Group, which is convened to represent all employees whose work is governed by this policy. The policy is shared publicly to facilitate accountability with the scientific community, and to encourage the proliferation of open data publishing at other institutions.
