This is a set of approximately 50 maps of areas outside the boundaries of British India.  These maps were produced from about 1895 to 1910, and were frequently updated as new geographic knowledge of these outlying areas became available.  These maps were often classified as 'secret' or 'restricted' and in general were not available to the public.  The map scales varied depending on the situation.
