Phenacoccus madeirensis Green Madeira mealybug

Occurs widely in tropical and subtropical areas of the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia; polyphagous, feeding on plants in 46 families; a pest of many crops and ornamentals. Recorded from Saint Lucia by Williams & Granara de Willink (1992), CABI (2000) and Malumphy (2012).
