Description

This is a MASH sketch made from public Escherichia and Shigella genomes collected from EnteroBase and NCBI RefSeq sources. It complements the existing GTDB comprehensive microbial taxonomy database sketch generated from 2023-10-03. This sketch is used by ECTYPER v2.0.0 Species ID module to perform species identification of the inputs as part of quality control and submission information verification.
