Description

K-band (24 GHz) Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) reference frame observations, originally motivated by astrometric goals, are now providing accurate geodetic products such as station locations, Earth orientation, and atmospheric parameters. These results from the K-band Astro2Geo VLBI project, launched in 2013, allow for multi-frequency VLBI comparisons as well as multi-technique comparisons.
