Dufourea echinocacti Timberlake, 1939
[Holotype: CASC; ♂ Palm Canyon, Riverside Co., California, USA; March 9, 1924]
Dufourea echinocacti occurs in southern California, USA and BC, Mexico and specializes on pollen collected from Echinocactus Link & Otto in the family Cactaceae (Lincoln 1980). Ayala et al. (1996), reported this species in BC.
