Description

Nomada crotchii Cresson, 1878

[Holotype: ANSP; ♀ Fort Tejon, California, USA]

This species is distributed from the southwestern Canada to northwestern Mexico. In BC, there is a record of a specimen collected in 1961 preserved at the SEMC and collected in the Chaparral habitat (GBIF 2023). We examined four specimens collected in Chaparral in March 1961 (LACM), and one male collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez in May 1982 (SDNHM). Additionally, the BBPT collected one female in Chaparral in April 2022 (MABC). See fig. 143.
