Centris (Paracentris) atripes Mocsáry, 1899

[Holotype: HNHM; ♂ Presidió (Praesidio), Sinaloa, Mexico]

This species is widespread throughout southwestern North America and has been reported in BC and BCS (Ayala et al. 1996) and Snelling (1974) reports C. atripes in BCS. We reviewed one male collected in the Central Desert in BCS in September 1941 (CASC). Additionally, the BBPT collected one male in the Magdalena Plains in March 2021 Magdalena Plains (MABC). See fig. 86.
