Description
This report summarizes the First International Workshop on Horizon Scanning for Plant Health, held on April 9-10, 2024, at the ANSES headquarters in Maisons-Alfort, France. The main goal of this first workshop was to facilitate discussions and exchanges among risk assessors and scientists involved in Horizon Scanning (HS from now on) in the field of biological invasions. Participants shared experiences, knowledge, and explored innovative approaches. Additionally, the workshop aimed to explore the possibilities and interest on the creation of a HS community in the field of plant health and more in general of biological invasions.
The slides used by speakers during the workshop are provided in the second file as additional material.
