Description

The attached trajectories illustrate the preference for the association of saturated asymmetric lipids over unsaturated ones with DSC2. In order to comply with the size limit, the initial conformations as well as one illustrative example of the final productive simulation with complete number of frames and all others sliced by 100 frames of each simulated system are provided herewith. Two illustrative example trajectories in the equilibrated but not yet converged phases are attached in additon, to demonstrate the dynamic rearrangement of asymmetric lipids before the stable states. The first example is that of the saturated asymmetric lipid, which is used to illustrate the association of the trucated saturated chain with the DSC2. The second example depicts the dissociation of an analogous unsaturated chain from the DSC2. The initial conformations are provided in PDB format, while the final productive simulations are uploaded in NetCDF (AMBER) format.
