Avaliação em campo do equipamento gerador de aerossol Aero System®, aplicando Dragnet (permethrin 0,5%) contra formas aladas de Aedes aegypti

The effectiveness of the Aero System® equipment was evaluated for controlling Aedes aegypti inside homes in Tubiacanga, Rio de Janeiro. The study focused on assessing the droplet spectrum produced by the Aero System® and the mortality rate of Ae. aegypti females exposed to permethrin AS indoors. The objective was to determine whether this technology could impact vector control in domestic environments, particularly in areas vulnerable to diseases such as dengue.
