UK marine data - a cycle from collection to reuse

Description

The Marine Environmental Data and Information Network (MEDIN) is an open network of UK organisations improving access to, and stewardship of UK marine data. MEDIN has a network of 7 accredited Data Archive Centres (DACs) ensure the long-term curation of a wide range of marine data. The MEDIN portal provides access to over 18,000 metadata records from over 600 organisations. These metadata records are now available through Ocean InfoHub, a UN Ocean Decade initiative which enhances the impact of UK marine research.
