B. Inflated twin hairs with acute apex (itha) of C. lyratifolia. C. Inflated twin hairs with obtuse apex (itho) in C. madrensis. D. Simple twin hairs (sth) in C. pringlei. E. Multicellular capitate gland (cg) in Adenocaulon lyratum. F. Biseriate gland (bg) in C. albicans.
