Laphria orientalis Joseph & Parui, 1981b: 214. Type locality: India (Meghalaya: Tura) [Holotype ♂, ZSI].

Indian distribution: Assam: Tinsukia Dist.: Margherita (town); Meghalaya: West Garo Hills Dist.: Tura (town); Nagaland: Kohima Dist.: Kohima (city) (Joseph & Parui 1981b: 214; 1983a: 294; 1990a: 15; 1999a: 93; 1998: 63; Sen et al. 2016: 206).

World distribution: India, Myanmar (Joseph & Parui 1981b: 214; 1998: 63).
