FAIR Management of marine data in the Western Indian Ocean Remote areas and in Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (ABNJs) to inform multilateral strategies and actions

This Brief Scientific Policy Information focuses on good practices for scientific data management (FAIR principles), blocking points & incentives for the implementation of  such practices in the context of ABNJs, examples of ABNJs data FAIRly shared and ongoing initiatives in the WIO and concludes with the need for Data Managements Plans.
