Description

The CORSIKA Monte Carlo code for the simulation of particle cascades has been used for more than 30 years by many different groups in the field of astroparticle physics. In particular, it is being used in the context of cosmic-ray physics, gamma-ray astronomy,  and high-energy neutrino detection.

       add proper calculation of propagation step at low energy taking into account
       evolution of cross-section due to energy loss for both CONEX and CORSIKA
       correct bug in EPOS leading to non stable CONEX simulations (no impact on
       other results)
       shift CONEX longitudinal profile by minus half a bin by averaging 2 CONEX bins
       in CORSIKA bins (leading to a better Xmax from  T T T to F F F)
       add small step energy loss in UPDATE to take into account change of dE/dX
       with energy
       add "preshow" to binary file name when preshower is compiled with CORSIKA
       correct a bug in PRESHOWER+CURVED. Time was set at the first interaction point
       (in case of preshower) which is not consistent with the CURVED option where the
       time start at the top of the atmosphere and add check on EVTH(11) definition
       use proper time definition according to TSTART for PRESHOWER without CURVED
       correct bug in CONEX in T T T mode leading to double counting in the  
       longitudinal profiles (only, no change in particles at ground) in some  
       cases (precision problem at injection point)
       correct bug in CONEX projectile definition for EPOS (leading to crash after
       some pion exchange)
       remove energy check in CONEX in conflict with CORSIKA
       exclude FLUKA-CERN and MPI to be used with EPOS (conflict)
