ENHANCING COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF HEALTH APPLICATIONS AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES: A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW

The increasing integration of health applications (apps) into emergency medical services (EMS) offers substantial potential for improving patient outcomes, reducing response times, and enhancing public health engagement. However, the effectiveness of these tools is heavily dependent on community awareness and their subsequent adoption. This review explores existing literature on the current level of community awareness regarding health applications related to EMS, identifies challenges faced in promoting public engagement, and discusses strategies to enhance adoption. The review emphasizes the role of technological advancements in modern healthcare delivery, the barriers to widespread adoption, and the importance of comprehensive education and outreach to fully leverage the benefits of health applications in emergency medical services.
