This course of lectures examines the history of the development of field archeology in Ukraine, and provides a description of modern methods of detection and field study of archeological monuments. The process of studying the main archeological objects - burial mounds, burial mounds, settlement monuments from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages - is described in detail (within the framework of the lecture course). Examples from field practice are given, and the conditions of the location of archeological monuments are considered. The documentation that makes up the Scientific Report on Archeology is listed in detail.
