Suffrage entails the privilege to participate in public elections, whether local or national, by voting and being a candidate under certain conditions. The election of public officials in the Philippines is considered a significant event, drawing voters' attention to sociocultural issues, which are integral to the democratic process. Elections are commonly viewed as the embodiment of public will and the exercise of the people's sovereign authority in modern democratic societies. Understanding the factors and strategies influencing voting behavior in elections is crucial to comprehending the dynamics of selecting political candidates and the impact of voter choices on them. This study delves into the factors and strategies that influence the voting behavior of registered voters in Silang, Cavite. It aims to address various inquiries posed to respondents, such as determining their demographic characteristics, identifying factors influencing their voting behavior, analyzing election campaign strategies employed by political candidates to sway voter decisions, and exploring potential relationships between factors, campaign strategies, and voting behavior. Furthermore, the study examines how factors like educational background, family ties, political party allegiance, and candidate platforms, in conjunction with strategies such as campaign advertisements, social media promotions, and the distribution of promotional items, impact voter preferences.
