Resurological studies of lithium

Relevance of the topic: it is determined by the economic perspective of lithium ore mining, the necessity of its demand–resource studies for applied theoretical developments. Statement of the problem: substantiation of studies of promising natural resource potential of lithium deposits according to the need–resource approach, development of the scientific base of lithium surface management.
The purpose and tasks of research. The purpose of the research: to analyze the features and prospects of the mineral resource base and to substantiate the range of concepts on the needs of ultra–lithium resources under the scientific directions of lithium resource engineering. Tasks of the research: to initiate the application of the resource–resource approach to the display of the results of the study of lithium subsoil use; take into account the factor of national ownership of the subsoil; substantiate the signs of lithium resources; highlight the resource aspects of lithium deposits in combination with other elements; start the development of lithium resursonics.
Methodology and methods of research: demand–resource and natural–resource approaches to the information display of the results of subsoil use; principles of complexity; historicism in research; logical substantiation of the essence and types of needs in geological objects and processes of ore subsoil use.
Research results. Lithium resource science studies: the needs of the people, business entities, the country’s economy, domestic and international trade in lithium resources; types of needs in subsoil use; minerals as objects of property of the people, their needs of business entities at the stages from extraction to industrial processing into finished products. Grounded principles of need–resource territorial land management. 
Conclusions. Scientifically based and systematic development of the lithium industry in the interests of the people is promising for the world, Ukraine, its population, territorial communities, therefore the industry should be financed according to growing needs, at the expense of domestic investors.
