Sami Chidambaranar was born on December 1, 1900 at Kadakam near Mayiladuthurai as the son of Saminatha Malayaman and Kamalampal. He received the title of 'Pandithar' in 1923 from Madurai Tamil Sangam. He was involved in the justice party and later in the self-respect movement. Sami Chidambaran married a maid named Sivagami in the year 1930 in a self-respect marriage. Sami Chidambaran wrote 62 books on literature, philosophy, society and politics. His first work was the Venba Yapi book 'Nalaini Katha' written in 1921.
Sami Chidambaranar (December 1, 1900 – January 17, 1961) was a Tamil scholar, researcher, poet, journalist, writer and Dravidian movement activist. It shows the way to live a pure life.
