Compound flood potential
Description
This directory contains MATLAB and R scripts used for estimating the joint probabilities of occurring extreme storm surges and rainfall in coastal regions, focusing on the mixed populations (tropical cyclones (TCs) and non-tropical cyclones (non-TCs)). The methodology and results are detailed in the paper "A multivariate statistical framework for mixed storm types in compound flood analysis."
