Green beyond: Das GOAL in kleinen Schritten erreichen
Description
Green Open Access can be a way to gain practice-oriented journals published by small publishers, professional associations or institutional publishers for the world of sustainable, fair Open Access. These journals play an important role for authors working at universities of applied sciences and of teacher education and can also be of great interest for authors at universities, as they bridge the gap between researchers and practitioners. In "Green Beyond" we present how we have been doing this for the case of Swiss-based journals within the framework of the Project GOAL and what the results are. The most visible part is our GOAL database of policies, a database that was necessary to make these journals findable and more visible, as they cannot be added to other international databases. The database, that will keep growing after the end of the project, is not, however the only result. The poster shows also the limits we have found and gives a hint of challenges ahead of us. This information can also be of help for the Diamond way, as the gained experiences are in several cases similar.
