Description

Isorhipis melasoides (Laporte, 1835)

Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Rafiei-Jahed et al. 2021, under the family Elateridae; Farashiani et al. 2022), Guilan (present paper), Mazandaran (Jarzabek-Müller 2019; Farashiani et al. 2022).

New material examined. Guilan province, Kishtybi, 1♀, 7–8 (20–21 in the modern Gregorian calendar). iv.1916, B.S. Iljin leg., Zoological Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences.

General distribution. Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia (Central European Territory), Slovakia, Turkey (Muona 2007), Azerbaijan (Koenig 1899; Varshalovitch 1935), Ukraine (Roubal 1936; Mateleshko 2009), Switzerland (Horion 1953; Chittaro and Blanc 2012), Russia (South European Territory) (Mamaev 1976), Luxembourg (Gerend 2008), Spain (Recalde Irurzun 2008), Greece (Mertlik et al. 2009), Lithuania (Ferenca & Tamutis 2009), Great Britain (Mendel et al. 2011), Serbia (Németh et al. 2017), Iran (Jarzabek-Müller 2019), Belgium (Troukens et al. 2020).
