Assessing the exposure of diverse populations to heat under a thermo-physiologically consistent approach in a large Mediterranean urban area

This poster was presented at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society in Barcelona, Spain (2-6 September). It provides information on assessing population exposure to heat stress accounting for variations in the human thermo-physiological responses to heat. The dataset used in the study is publicly available at: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10893914, and it was developed in the framework of the HEAT-ALARM ("Development of a heat-health warning system in Greece") research project.
