Description

Cyathea dintelmannii Lehnert, Brittonia 58: 237. 2006.

Range: — Peru, Bolivia (CO, LP).

Ecology: —Fairly common in perhumid montane rainforests, often on swampy ground in the understory; widespread but not very common; (1000–) 1300–2850 m.

Notes: —Replaced in the northern Andes by the almost identical Cyathea guentheriana Lehnert (Lehnert 2009b).
