Basionym: Eclopes parallelinervis Lessing var. angustifolia Candolle (1838a: 289).— Type: SOUTH AFRICA, Eastern Cape, between Omsamcaba and Omsamwubo, 1835. Drège 4993 (G-DC, holotype!; P!, W, isotypes).
