FIGURE 4. A–H. Drimia delagoensis: A. Raceme sparely flowered. B. Outer bulb scales fleshy, loose-packed peripherally, dark olivegreen with withered apices. C. Bulbs gregarious and largely epigeal, leaves>3, linear, deeply canaliculate. Urginea lydenburgensis: D. Small colony, bulbs single, hypogeal, leaves 1–2, filiform, erect-pendulous. E. Raceme sparse, flowers campanulate to spreading. F. Bulb scales compact, smooth, pinkish. Sekanama sanguinea: G. Flowers white on many-flowered raceme. H. Bulb with prominent red papery tunic. Scales A: 5 mm; B: 30 mm; C: 100 mm; D: 60 mm; E: 5 mm; F: 35 mm; G: 10 mm; H: 25 mm.
