Two Teachers, Two Subjects, and One Purpose
Description
The school of today needs to face the challenges of the new generation. The demands of modern society dictate adjustments in school subjects, the blending of cross-disciplinary topics, and innovative teaching methods. The article explores a number of cross-disciplinary teaching methods for Romanian Language and Literature and History. More specifically, it examines the application of transferrable in-class teaching techniques and explores innovative teaching approaches in both subjects. As a case study, we share our experience of applying cross-disciplinary teaching methods in a non-formal activity, namely a school trip connected to both subjects.
