Pesquisa realizada com o objetivo de registrar a memória sobre o significado familiar da Coleção particular de Gert Eduardo Secco Eichenberg e institucional para a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. A investigação envolveu análise documental e realização de entrevistas individuais e em grupo para formar o corpus empírico de uma pesquisa que conecta: a biografia do colecionador, a história da coleção - formada por 50 mil obras raras e gerais- e seu legado cultural preservado e disseminado na Universidade.
Abstract (English)
Research was conducted with the aim of documenting the familial significance of Gert Eduardo Secco Eichenberg's private collection, as well as its institutional value to the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. The investigation involved documentary analysis and both individual and group interviews to form the empirical research corpus, which connects the collector's biography, the history of the collection—comprising 50,000 rare and general works—and its cultural legacy, which is preserved and disseminated by the University.
