Antibody Characterization Report for Fetuin-B

  • 1. ROR icon Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital
  • 2. ROR icon Structural Genomics Consortium
  • 3. ROR icon McGill University

Description

This article presents antibody characterization data that can be utilized as a guide to select high-performing antibodies for Fetuin-B, encoded by the FETUB gene. Wild-type and FETUB KO mouse serum were obtained and three mouse reactive antibodies were evaluated by western blot using a standardized protocol that compares readouts in isogenic parental controls and knockout cell lines.

Thank you to Dr. Willi Jahnen-Dechent at RWTH Aachen University, Germany for donating the serum from mouse. We'd also like to thank the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation for their support and nomination of this target as well as the Structural Genomics Consortium for coordinating this study.
